Helping Heroes

Oak Creek Fire Station No. 3

BACKGROUND

The City of Oak Creek needed to make improvements to Oak Creek Fire Station No. 3 by converting the pre-existing communal sleep area into separate bunk rooms. This was driven by the desire to give firefighters a greater degree of privacy and a rejuvenating sleep environment for their first responders.

Aproach

J.H. Hassinger had the privilege of being selected to undertake the renovation project at Oak Creek Fire Station No. 3. The initial 930 square feet of open sleep space underwent a meticulous transformation, evolving into seven distinct private bunk rooms. This thoughtful redesign aimed not only to enhance the living quarters but also to prioritize the well-being of the firefighters, ensuring a more private and restful environment and enabling them to better serve the community.
